Virginia Union University won its 3rd straight CIAA Title by beating Johnson C. Smith in the closing minutes of the CIAA men's tournament championship 71-64.
VUU(25-3) are defending NCAA Division II champions, and scored a win over Division I Virginia Commonwealth University this year.
